Summary:
As an Accountant, you analyze financial information and prepare journal entries to record assets, liabilities, profit and loss transactions, or other financial activities for the organization.
This is not a remote position, candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid manner.
Responsibilities:
Actively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP Performing Accounting activities as assigned Perform month-end journal entries for closing, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations in Blackline Collaborate with Site personnel and BSC regarding fixed asset issues and other Accounting activities in your area of responsibility Assist with the resolution of any issues that could impact the timely month-end closing and communicate timely to the Accounting Supervisor Familiarize and follow all Corporate Accounting Policies in your area of responsibility Adhere to all the SOX procedures Complete Quarterly reports as assigned including Site Analytics Other tasks as assigned Requirements:
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience Preferred Experience / Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders Confident user of MS Office particularly strong Excel skills Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems (SAP knowledge is helpful) Keen on building positive relationships Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Flexibility and ability to drive process improvements as needed Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, pension plan, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits!
