4 Taneytown, MD Taneytown, MD This position will be directly responsible for performing activities that promote Reliability of all Evapco Assets.
This will include tasks such as verifying, buying, negotiating, and managing Project Planning requirements and associated projects to support the goal of Maximized Asset Availability.
This also includes development and plant wide implementation of Mpulse at the Taneytown facility.
Areas of Responsibility Maintains efficient relationship with Storeroom Manager on availability of Parts.
Works with Supervisors, Superintendents, Engineering, and Facilities personnel and communicates planning details for Vendor PM's, Vendor Service, or other planning requirements.
Utilizes Mpulse (CMMS) reports, graphs, data to track performance of departmental and location metrics.
Manage Planned work order backlog to keep at a minimum.
Generates Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Scheduled Maintenance Records, and New Asset Records.
Assists Maintenance Supervisor with coordinating project workload for timely completion.
Prepares and maintains a weekly preventative maintenance schedule.
Coordinates and documents the use of vendor services when contractor labor is required.
Quotation through completion of projects.
Works with Shop Buyer to prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; forwards orders to vendors/suppliers; monitors and expedites orders as needed.
Verifies receipt of items by reconciling orders; resolves any errors with supplier; forwards receiving documentation for payment.

years of work experience in the maintenance environment or equivalent work experience and education.
Business or appropriately related bachelor's degree or job-related experience Reading and understanding engineering drawings and BOM's required Can deal with conflict in a positive manner Motivated and self-starting individual Word, Excel knowledge and ability to learn all EVAPCO software-based programs Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily works at a desk in an office setting May require lifting of many different parts, tools, and assemblies and may be over 50 lbs.
Normal work week Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
