# Position Description
Provide expert HR consultancy and leadership to management and employees of Flowserve''s Taneytown, MD facility (approx. 300 employees). Candidate will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of HR programs and policies, management of local HR department, and providing day-to-day HR support for people managers. Working closely with Centers of Expertise and the HR service Center. Contributes to resolution of escalated issues and recommendations for enhancements to HR procedures/processes. Responsible for collaboration with HR Business Partners and Site Leadership to implement workforce planning and human capital management initiatives.
# Accountabilities
Communicate and resolve HR related issues as they arise
Talent Acquisition - support manpower plan, including growth and attrition; support talent pipe-line to include Engineering (college recruiting and intern/co-op programs), skilled labor (apprentice programs & technical schools), and; leadership talent (internal and external.
Learning and Development - support the implementation of training and development programs that strengthen organizational and individual effectiveness
Business Performance - support Flowserve Performance Management process by engaging leadership to address performance issues and manage process.
Employee Relations - ensure employment practices are deployed consistent with company policies/philosophy and legal requirements.
Organizational Structure - support org structure by ensuring clean org structures and clear reporting relationships. This includes jobs scoped and defined at the correct levels and pay delivered commensurate with job levels and associate contribution.

Bachelor''s Degree required, Master''s Degree a plus, Human Resources degree or Business degree preferred

years Human Resource Experience
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
Experience in manufacturing environment a plus
Team oriented with excellent communication skills
Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach cooperative team approaches
Must possess strong analytical skills, and be computer literate.
